CRNA: Permit Practice Year Updated

{{FormatDate CurrentDate}}
Registration #{{RegistrationNumber}}

Hello {{RegistrantFirstName}},

Our registration year runs from October 1 to September 30, and as your initial application is nearing completion, we have changed your effective permit date to October 1 of the new practice year.

To continue with your application, please log in to your College Connect account and ensure all requirements are complete before submitting. Because we have changed your permit effective date, some steps will require an update if they were already completed:

  1. Liability Insurance
    1. Check this step’s status is either Complete or Not Started/In Progress.
    2. If it is Complete, then CNPS is aware that your practice year has changed and have transferred your existing purchase over to the correct year. No further action is needed from you.
    3. If it is Not Started or In Progress, then CNPS has not been informed, and you will have to contact them here. You will request that your liability insurance that you already purchased be transferred to the next practice year.
  2. Payment
    1. Any permit fees that you have previously paid for the previous practice year will be added as a credit to your account. This process can take up to a week.
    2. Any remaining balance will show in the Payment step, and you will have to make a new payment to pay the remaining fees.
  3. Declare & Submit
    1. You will have to complete this step if you haven’t already done so.

If you require more assistance, please contact us by email at registration@nurses.ab.ca or by phone at 1.800.252.9392. Ensure you include your CRNA registration number with all email correspondence.
