CRNA Application: Nursing Exam Eligibility

The CRNA has determined you are not eligible to write the NCLEX-RN exam due to your nursing education being older than 2 years.

Your options moving forward are:

• If you wish to re-apply again in the future, you will be required to provide more recent nursing education, in the form of a Bridging Program. You can read more about Bridging Programs here.
• You have the option to have your current eligibility evidence reviewed by the Registration Committee as an exception. If you would like to proceed with this option, please email us as casemanagement@nurses.ab.ca, and we will provide next steps.
