Your application for the Virtual Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) on ______ has been received and processed.

Please find attached the tentative schedule for the day, an information sheet regarding the examination and NNP competencies.  All the attached documents are confidential and must not be shared with anyone else (including other potential NNP graduates planning on taking the examination).

Please note the schedule will be updated with specific names and given to you when you register on site for the OSCE on ______.

To assist with your preparation for the examination, we have included a sheet outlining important exam information, the exam schedule as well as the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Graduate competencies.  We would also strongly encourage you to be very familiar with the Canadian Pediatric Society Position Statements and Practice points, especially the Fetus and Newborn Committee, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Education Subcommittee.  Please note the examination is based on national best practice recommendations, please ensure you are aware of the recommendations and not site-specific practices which maybe be modified. When you are being examined, this is a virtual OSCE therefore very important to verbalize your response very clearly. Ensure you verbalize systematically your response/actions/treatment decisions clearly. If applicable, please verbally outline specifically how you systematically analyze/interpret results/patient information to determine the treatment plan.
