CRNA Application: Nursing Exams OSCE Exam Initialization

Thank you for reaching out to begin your nurse practitioner (NP) exam process. Your eligibility has been confirmed by the CRNA.

The OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) is administered jointly between the University of Alberta, who hosts the actual exam, and Dalhousie University, who designs, administers and evaluates the results. This exam is conducted twice a year in May and November.

The CRNA assists with exam logistics, including booking a space in the exam, custom testing arrangements (if requested in the Registrant Service) and payment of fees. After you write your exam, Dalhousie University will send the results to the CRNA, and we will inform you of the status.

Virtual Identity Verifications

In this meeting, we will confirm your identity and take payment for exam registration - exam fee is $1300.00 CAD. Please ensure you bring a government-issued ID and a credit card to this meeting. Once the fee is collected, we will send a follow-up email with more detailed information about your upcoming exam.

Your eligibility is approved for three years from your program completion date. The CRNA will allow an unlimited number of attempts within this timeframe.
